Family Ministries

Children are welcome at all parish events, including worship as well as programs geared toward their spiritual nurture and development.

Our offerings for children and families run from mid-September through mid-June.

In light of COVID-19, we moved all offerings for children and families online from mid-March through the end of the program year. We will post an update here on how these ministries will resume in the fall.

Sunday Mornings

  • On Sundays at 10:00 am, middle schoolers meet in the Parish House for their Sunday School program, Echo the Story.
  • During the Sunday 11:00 am service, children ages 3 to 10 are invited to Sunday School for Godly Play – a Montessori-based method of Biblical storytelling that allows children to wonder about the stories and respond to them with play or art. See our YouTube channel for various Godly Play lessons recorded by one of our Sunday School teachers!
  • From 10:45 am to 12:45 pm, the nursery is available for younger children and is supervised by a professional attendant. During the summer Sunday-School hiatus, children of all ages are welcome in the nursery.
  • Acolyting. Children 10 and older are invited to serve as Acolytes during the 11:00 am service on a rotating basis.

High School Youth Group

We have monthly opportunities for Incarnation high schoolers to gather for fellowship, service and learning.

Family Fridays

Every other month, parents and children of all ages are invited to the Parish House for a pizza dinner, family-friendly service project, and group activity. Past activities have included bingo, movie nights, dance parties, games in the Assembly Hall, and a scavenger hunt in the church.

Christian Parenting Group

The Christian Parenting Group meets every other week for fellowship and spiritual formation.

Parenthood is a constant spiritual journey and one we should never walk alone.
