| The Chapel of the
Resurrection |
| |
As you enter
the vestibule, you will find the Chapel of the Resurrection to the
right; it was built in 1930, making it the newest addition to the
church. The chapel gate has shields bearing symbols of the Passion
of Christ. The reredos is a polychromed wood triptych in an early
English style. Above the triptych is a window portraying the Resurrection.
There is also a second, larger window depicting Christ's Ascension.
Note: The location of the large window was formerly a doorway. The
colors on the ceiling are the original colors painted in the church
prior to restoration efforts. |
