E-MINDER: the Church of the Incarnation

THE WEEK OF APRIL 13 – APRIL 20, 2008

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: Come let us adore him. (BCP 81)

This past Sunday, during his visit to Incarnation, the Rt. Rev. Mark Sisk — Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New York — rededicated our Chapel of the Resurrection (pictured above).  The chapel was recently cleaned and repainted to restore it to its original splendor.  Of particular note is the return of the marble altar frontal which had become detached, fallen, and broken into multiple pieces.  We thank all who labored on this project, especially Brian Hoashi — Incarnation's chief sexton — for his meticulous painting, mending of the frontal and overall beautification of the space.
