 Almighty and gracious Father, we give you thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we pray, faithful stewards of your great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Tuesday, November 20           7:00 pm. Twenties and Thirties' Drinks and Discussion.  Meet at the Parish House and walk to a local bar to discuss "Christianity and the Care of Creation;" we'll look at differing Christian responses to global warming and debate religious responsibility for the environment.  Visit these sites for some background:

Wednesday, November 21       12:00 noon – 3 pm.  Preparation and delivery of Thanksgiving meals to housebound seniors in Murray Hill.  A H.O.N.E.Y. (Helping our Neighbors Eat Year-round) event.  If you cannot volunteer, donations are gratefully accepted at H.O.N.E.Y. Inc., P.O. Box 1251, Murray Hill Station, New York, NY 10156-0605.  All donations are tax-deductible.
