E-MINDER: the Church of the Incarnation

The Week of April 15 - April 22, 2007

Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The above Statue of Reconciliation, by Josefina de Vasconcellos, stands in the ruins of the nave of Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Coventry, England.  The Coventry Cathedral, built in the late 14th/early 15th centuries, was bombed in World War II.  The ruins stand next to a 20th century sanctuary which houses a vital congregation whose mission is largely centered on reconciliation.  Click here to learn more.
