About Taizé ...

Incarnation's NEW Sunday EVENING service feeatures radiant CANDLELIGHT, water, GREENERY, and MUSIC from the Taizé community in France. TAIZÉ worship is spiritually centered andinclued quiet meditattive changing with periods of silence for reflection and contemplation.

The Protestant / Catholic brothers of Taizé, a small village in the Burgundy region of France, draw many thousands of people to share their lives each year. Founded during World War II with a mission of seeking reconciliation, their monastery has become an important pilgrimage site for people from around the world. The simplicity and meditative quality of their music draws wroshipers and the short silences between each chant offer quiet space in which to reflect.
